- Melt butter in a large pot over medium heat. Thinly slice onion and add to the large pot. Season with a ⅛ tsp salt and sugar.
- Reduce heat to medium low and cook until onions begin to caramelize. Stir frequently to prevent burning. This will take 15-20 minutes.
- While onions are cooking, prepare the beef for the bowl. Add ground beef to a medium skillet. Break the beef apart with a spatula and cook over medium heat. Cook until no pink remains. Add salt, pepper, and garlic powder. Stir in steak sauce, Worcestershire sauce, and ketchup. Turn heat to low and prepare the other ingredients.
- For the sauce, whisk all ingredients in a bowl and set aside.
- Evenly distribute lettuce between the 4 bowls. Portion the beef between the 4 bowls. Add tomatoes, pickles, bacon, cheese, avocado, caramelized onions, and croutons to the bowl. Top with burger sauce and garnish with sesame seeds.
