SHEET PAN SAUSAGE, ONIONS AND PEPPERS​

Savory sausage with sweet yellow, green and red bell peppers, combined with a sweet onion grown in Texas?  What a combination!

Ingredients

• 2 medium sized sweet onions, slicked thick
• 1 large green bell pepper, sliced thick
• 1 large red bell pepper, sliced thick
• 1 large yellow bell pepper, sliced thick
• 1 large orange bell peppers, sliced thick
• 2 tbsp avocado oil
• Salt and pepper to taste
• 5 sausage links (bratwurst or italian)

Directions

1. Preheat your oven to 400F. Place the onions and bell peppers on a large baking sheet. Drizzle with olive oil and season with salt and pepper to taste. Toss them all together to make sure they are evenly coated with oil.
2. Make space in the middle of the pan and place the sausages on the pan. Bake for approximately 40 minutes or until the sausage reaches an internal temperature of 160F.
