Bacon & Onion Baked Beans

Ingredients

  • 28 oz can vegetarian baked beans
  • ¼ brown sugar
  • ½  tbsp yellow mustard
  • ⅔ cup root beer
  • 2 tbsp ketchup
  • ⅔  cup finely chopped onion, divided
  • 6 slices bacon, chopped

Directions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F. 
  2. In a large bowl, mix all ingredients except the bacon and ⅓ of the onions. 
  3. Pour mixture into an oven safe baking dish. Top with bacon and remaining onions. 
  4. Bake for 40 minutes. 
  5. Serve.
