About TX1015 Sweet Onion Day

As a key contributor to our local economy, TX1015 Sweet Onions are recognized nationwide, and we’re committed to continuing that legacy. October 15th is the recommended planting date for TX1015 Sweet Onions, as established by Dr. Leonard Pike and Paul Leeper of Texas A&M University. To celebrate this, we’d like to officially declare October 15th as “TX1015 Sweet Onion Day” —and why stop there? We’re extending the celebration through October 20th to give our beloved state vegetable the recognition it deserves!
